At Verity Dental & Implant Center, emergency care is focused on one thing first: getting you out of pain. We make every effort to see emergency patients the same day and address the problem quickly, carefully, and clearly.

Immediate Pain Relief
Our first priority is stopping discomfort. Once we identify the source of the problem, we focus on calming pain and stabilizing the area right away.
Clear, Calm Guidance
After you’re comfortable, we explain what’s going on and what can be done—today and next. You’ll get straightforward answers, not rushed explanations.

Efficient Treatment
Many emergency issues can be treated in one visit. If follow-up care is needed, we’ll outline a clear plan, so you know exactly what comes next.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I go to the ER instead of the dentist?
For most dental pain, infections, broken teeth, or lost restorations, a dentist is the best place to start. Emergency rooms typically can’t provide definitive dental treatment and may only offer temporary pain relief. If you have uncontrolled bleeding, trouble breathing or swallowing, significant facial trauma, or a medical emergency, go to the ER first. Otherwise, call us and we’ll guide you.
Can I be seen if I’m not already a patient?
Yes. New patients are always welcome for emergency visits. You don’t need to be an established patient to receive urgent care. Our focus is on helping you get relief and addressing the issue as quickly and safely as possible.
How much does emergency dental care cost?
The cost of emergency care depends on what’s causing the problem and what treatment is needed. During your visit, we explain findings and fees before moving forward, so there are no surprises.
We also review financing options if helpful, especially when unexpected dental issues arise.
Do you offer same-day emergency appointments?
Yes. We make every effort to see emergency patients the same day they call, especially when pain, swelling, or infection is involved. Our team prioritizes urgent cases and will work to get you seen as quickly as possible.
If same-day treatment isn’t available, we’ll give you clear guidance on next steps and how to manage symptoms until you’re seen.
What qualifies as a dental emergency?
A dental emergency is any situation involving your teeth, gums, or jaw that needs prompt care to relieve pain, stop swelling or bleeding, or prevent further damage. This includes severe toothaches, facial swelling, infections or abscesses, broken or knocked-out teeth, lost crowns or fillings that cause pain, and injuries to the mouth or jaw.
If something feels urgent or is getting worse, it’s best to call—we can help you decide what needs immediate attention.
